Over the years, our founder has tried many different techniques to collect pieces for her own collection. After having made many mistakes of her own, suffice it to say that she has a solid handle on what principles do and don’t work! This is the start of a series, where we’ll share her top tips with you.
Layer your collectibles in threes.

The Rule of Three is a common principle in writing & speaking. Multiple ideas and concepts are best presented in groupings of three. Visually, it’s important to follow the same when thinking about collectibles. Two doesn’t seem like a collection, and four or more sometimes feels like too many. When in doubt, just think “three.”
